Greetings from Highland HQ,

Fall has arrived and it’s time to start planning closing weekend number ten here at Highland. Now if you’ve ever joined us for our annual season ender party, a.k.a. the S’ender Bash, you know something special happens up on the mountain that day (and night). Like a full moon to a werewolf, S’ender brings the freak out in all of us; memories from past S’enders are fit for a Hunter S. Thompson novel.

This year things have evolved. Even matured one might say. At Highland we’ve worked hard to bring you the best trails and training the East has to offer. And, after 10 years rolling we’re all grown up!

So, having reached the pinnacle of what the S’ender party could be, we’ve decided to throttle back a wee bit. Sadly, this year we will not hold a Saturday night party. But don’t panic, an epic weekend for all members of your family is in the works!

For 2015 we’ve created the “S’ender Weekender” and we’ll be celebrating our tenth anniversary in style. Yep, same great H-land flavor with one day added! In lieu of the Saturday night party Highland will stay open for a bonus grande finale special price day.

“Special price?” you ask. Yup. On Sunday, November 15th the Highland day pass* will be reduced to $28!

Twenty eight bucks*!

Extending our tradition, All profits from S’ender Sunday’s lift ticket sales will go to Wings For Life, a spinal cord injury research initiative that is near and dear to our hearts. And we urge season pass holders to donate when they pick up their lift pass.

Join Us Saturday and Sunday, November 14th and 15th for:

  • Classic costumed DH bombing
  • trail crew klunkin’
  • special price day
  • Limited edition Highland “10 years & rolling” tees
  • Hugs and high fives all around
  • More events for the entire family are in the works for closing weekend so stay tuned…

The best news of all, without the mosh pit it sure will be easier to clean up the lodge. Fewww!

Sincerely yours,
The Highland Crew

Please note, Highland will not be serving beer or wine after October 31st.

*$28 price is for a one day lift access pass – all other pass pricing will remain the same*
