AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM [GRADES 4 – 8*]
Highland’s afterschool program is a way to offer students an outdoor experience unique to the area they live in. Over the course of the five-week program, students learn and refine skills while applying them to a variety of lift-serviced trails. Not only will the students learn about Downhill Mountain biking but they will also have the opportunity to build friendships, push boundaries, and build a greater relationship with the outdoors.
Each riding session includes a small-group coaching with extended park access to lifts and riding areas. Highland Training Center staff will accompany students at all times.
*Junior coaches will work with a Highland trained coach to Introduce Mountain biking to all ages and skills! They will help with group organization and flow. Junior coaches will get an introduction to coaching and gain access to Unique Highland Rewards! Ask your school ambassador about Junior coaching. Must be 14+
