Introducing Flex Pricing!
New for 2024, Highland will be implementing Flex Pricing for our online adult day pass sales. A model used by many ski resorts, it offers more customers the opportunity to take advantage of discounts when planning their trip to the mountain. You can now save up to 35% off your day pass by booking online in advance!
How does it work?
There are multiple discount tiers online for any given riding day, with a set number of passes available at each tier. The best discounts are offered first, on a first-come, first-served basis.
For example: we may start with a small number of passes available at 35% off. Once those are sold, we’ll release another batch at 30% off. Once those are sold, the next batch is 25% off. You get the picture!
Do day passes sell out?
No, we do not have a capacity on day pass sales. You will always be able to get a walkup pass from the Welcome Center on the day you want to ride.
One way to explain flex pricing is that “passes don’t sell out, prices do.” There are limits on how many passes will be available at each discount tier, but no limit on how many passes can be sold for a given day. You will not be turned away for not buying in advance!
What’s the catch?
Day passes purchased online are non-refundable and non-transferable: that’s your day to ride, rain or shine. (Not willing to gamble with the weather? Consider the Three Ride Pass—discounts aren’t quite as steep, but you will have flexibility to choose your riding days.)
Does this also apply to Junior passes?
No, we are not offering flex pricing on junior day passes (ages 7-14). A junior pass is always 50% off the adult window rate. Kids 6 and under ride for free!
Can I apply my Military / Ragged / NEMBA / Bike Shop / other discount on top of flex pricing?
No, all other discounts are taken off of the full-price window rate and can only be applied to in-person purchases. Discounts cannot be applied online or combined with flex pricing discounts. (You may find that sometimes the flex pricing is a better deal than whatever discount you qualify for–we encourage you to buy online and take advantage of flex pricing whenever that’s the case!)
We’re stoked to be able to offer heavier discounts than ever before, and hope that lots of riders will be able to take advantage of the great deals available via flex pricing. Remember it’s all on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t hesitate to grab your passes early!
