HIGHLAND MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK ANNOUNCES 2010 CLAYMORE

(Northfield, New Hampshire) – Mark your calendars and ask your boss for some time off, the Claymore Challenge is coming back to Highland Mountain Bike Park on July 15 – 17th, 2010. Known for its emphasis on rider and fan interaction, the Claymore will once again return with that trademark combination of music and mountain biking that has earned it a reputation amongst pro riders as “one of the funnest events of the year”.
First launched in 2008, the Claymore has quickly grown to become a fan and rider favorite. With athletes hailing from around the world, the open format slopestyle creates an exciting event that allows amateurs the opportunity to compete alongside the worlds most renowned freeride superstars.
“It’s a great feeling to be planning the 3rd Annual Claymore with the Highland team.” Said Mark Hayes, General Manager of Highland Mountain Bike Park, “We host the event because it is the growing trend in park riding and we want fans of gravity sports to see that slopestyle is no joke. Mountain biking has a new course and we are determined to get the word out!”
