Highland Mountain Bike Camps’ Freeride Spring Training Camp will be back at Highland Mountain Bike Park June 6th–10th and the Premiere Showing of Red Bull Media House & Freeride Entertainment’s ‘North Of Nightfall’ Mountain Bike Film will be shown on Saturday, June 9th.

The warm weather has returned to New Hampshire and with it are flocks of mountain bikers headed to Highland Mountain Bike Park in Northfield, NH. To celebrate this seasonal return Highland Mountain Bike Park is hosting an extended weekend of celebrations starting with the return of their Freeride Spring Training Camp and culminating with the premiere of ‘North of Nightfall’ — Red Bull Media House and Freeride Entertainment’s latest mountain bike film.

“We’re psyched to host these two events all on the same weekend right in the beginning of June,” explains Dave Smutok, VP of Highland Mountain Bike Park, and also the organizer of the Freeride Spring Training Camp. “You can feel the energy building at the park right now, as the summer months draw closer and school is about to let out. It’s the perfect time of year for us to host these two events and get all riders amped up for the season!”

The annual Freeride Spring Training Camp is an invite-only event for both pro and aspiring pro riders. Participants have exclusive access to Highland’s training facilities for over five days of uninterrupted sessions to help prepare for the upcoming competition or filming season.

“Many pro riders have been able to dial in their game at our Freeride Spring Training Camp, these guys and gals go on to podium at events like the X Games and other freeride, slopestyle and jump contests,” adds Mark Hayes, Owner, and Operator of Highland Mountain Bike Park. “Personally, I’m really excited to welcome these athletes back to our mountain and celebrate both their previous successes and to see how much further they can progress our sport, right here at Highland.” Watch professional riders like Nicholi Rogatkin, Reed Boggs, Matt McDuff, and local favorite Aaron Chase during the Slopestyle Jams from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on both Friday, June 8th and Saturday, June 9th, as they show off their newly learned and perfected tricks.

The fun doesn’t end there though, with a party to follow the Slopestyle Jam on Saturday Night is the Highland Mountain Bike Park Premiere of Red Bull Media House and Freeride Entertainment’s latest mountain bike film ‘North of Nightfall’.

“Hidden among the glaciers on Axel Heiberg Island, high in the Arctic Circle, are mountain bike lines too incredible to ignore. Harsh temperatures, volatile weather, and nine-month winters mean the area is normally devoid of human life. But each summer, this frozen landscape flourishes under endless daylight, revealing a spectacular ecosystem. Join Darren Berrecloth, Carson Storch, Cam Zink and Tom Van Steenbergen in North of Nightfall as they embark on an expedition to the top of the world to explore this relatively unknown land. Here they discover a rapidly changing environment steeped in history along with ground-breaking descents unlike anything anyone’s ridden to date.”

Doors open at 8:00 pm with a screening at 8:30pm. Tickets are $15 (plus fees) and can be purchased at www.highlandmountain.com. Professional riders will be in attendance along with a BBQ and Beer Garden.

Join in the fun and see the best of the best June 6th through 10th at Highland Mountain Bike Park. For more information on these and other great events all season long, visit our website or our Facebook page @HighlandMTB.
