Highland is looking for patrollers and lift operators for the fall 2019 season.
Bike Patrollers – OEC PROVIDERS
Highland Mountain Bike Patrol is now officially affiliated with National Ski Patrol! This means that we can now hire current OEC providers. If you are a member of NSP and interested in patrolling year-round, please reach out to us ASAP. We are currently looking to add a small number of paid, part-time patrollers to our staff to help finish off the season.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three continuous years of experience as an OEC technician (EMT certification a plus)
- Active membership in National Ski Patrol
- Lift-accessed biking experience (Highland preferred)
- A current Healthcare Provider CPR card
- A current driver’s license
Hiring preference will be given to Senior certification and/or OEC Instructors/Instructor Trainers.

Lift Operators
Qualified candidates will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the bike carrier lift. Responsible for the compliance of ANSI B77 standards, New Hampshire Tramway rules and regulations and all Highland Mountain policies and procedures. Must be attentive and accountable for operational and emergency procedures of the lift, the loading and off-loading bikes from chairlift attachment and able to lead a team in a lift evacuation if needed.
Applicants will be working in adverse outdoor weather conditions at times. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift. Dependability and excellent customer service and communication skills are required. Previous lift operating experience preferred but not mandatory. Must be 16 years or older to apply.
