BRING YOUR COLLEGE TO HIGHLAND
Ride Together. Try Something New. Make It a Day to Remember.
Give your students, club, team, or campus organization a day of adventure at New England’s premier lift-served mountain bike park.
A Highland College Ride Day brings experienced riders and first-time guests together for a shared day on the mountain. Experienced riders can explore Highland’s world-class trail network, while beginners can get the bike, protective equipment, instruction, and support they need through our Find Your Ride™ package.
Your group chooses the date and promotes the outing. Highland can handle individual registration, payments, waivers, rentals, and participant information.
An Adventure for Every Experience Level
Your group does not need to be made up of experienced mountain bikers. Participants can choose the package that best fits their experience and equipment needs.
Discounted Lift Tickets
For experienced riders who have their own downhill-ready bike and protective equipment. Lift tickets provide full-day access to Highland’s lift-served trail network.
Find Your Ride™ Package
The easiest way for a beginner to experience Highland. Find Your Ride includes a full-day lift pass, downhill mountain bike rental, full-face helmet and protective equipment, and a one-hour Park Ready™ introductory session with a Highland Training Center coach.
Why Colleges Choose Highland
- A shared adventure: Give students an opportunity to get outside, challenge themselves, and build lasting memories together.
- Beginner-friendly options: First-time riders receive equipment and introductory coaching while experienced riders enjoy the mountain independently.
- Individual registration: Participants can register and pay Highland directly through your group’s dedicated link.
- Easy to promote: Highland can provide ready-to-share email copy, social graphics, and a printable poster with a registration QR code.

A minimum of 10 paid riders is required to qualify for College Ride Day group pricing. Participants may mix and match lift tickets and Find Your Ride packages.

Individual Registration Makes Organizing Easy
Once your College Ride Day is approved, Highland can provide a dedicated registration page or link for your group. Each participant selects a package, registers, and pays individually.
Your college or student organizer does not need to collect payments, purchase every ticket in one transaction, gather waiver information, or coordinate individual rental needs. Highland will provide the organizer with registration updates leading up to the event.
Who Can Organize a College Ride Day?
You do not need an established mountain bike club to bring a group to Highland. College Ride Days are a great fit for:
- Campus recreation departments and outdoor programs
- Mountain bike, ski, and snowboard clubs
- Club sports teams
- Residence-life and student-engagement programs
- Student government, fraternities, and sororities
- Orientation and first-year programs
- Alumni groups
- Faculty and staff wellness programs
- Groups of friends
Ask our Group Sales team about food options, additional coaching, gathering space, larger campus-wide events, and recurring fall or spring outings.

COLLEGE RIDE DAY FAQs
Does everyone need mountain biking experience?
No. Find Your Ride™ was created for people who are new to Highland or lift-accessed downhill mountain biking. It includes a bike, protective equipment, lift access, and an introductory coaching session.
Does everyone need their own bike?
No. Beginners can select Find Your Ride™, which includes a rental bike and protective equipment. Experienced participants purchasing lift tickets may bring their own appropriate bike and gear or reserve a standalone rental separately.
Can everyone register separately?
Yes. When individual registration is arranged for your outing, participants use the group’s dedicated link to select a package and pay Highland directly.
What happens if we do not reach 10 participants?
Your Group Sales representative will explain the available options before registration opens. Depending on the outing, participants may be able to pay the difference for regular admission, transfer their purchase, or receive a refund or credit under the terms established for the event.
What else should participants know?
Transportation is not included. Every rider must complete Highland’s online waiver and show valid identification at check-in. Participants under 18 must have a waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian. Registered participants will receive arrival instructions, clothing recommendations, and equipment information before the outing.
