How To Apply

1: Pick A Program

In the section below, you will find a brief description of our Development and Race Teams. Take a look at them and explore the linked pages to learn more about the different goals, schedules and riding styles involved. Once you have identified the program best suited for you and your rider, come back up here and move on to step two!

2: Submit Application

Once you have decided on a program, you will log into or set up your Camp Intouch account and start your application. You will be asked to provide contact info, billing information and more. After the application is completed, you will get an email with a link to the Parent Dashboard for a couple required forms before we can head to step three.

3: Interview

Once we have your application and the required forms – a member of our team will get in touch with you to schedule a video call. The goal of this is to get to know the rider, their aspirations, and what they hope to get out of participating in one of our Seasonal Programs. After the interview, we will be in touch shortly to let you know if your rider has been accepted!

Development Team

The Highland development team is a gravity-oriented mountain bike team that offers athletes the opportunity to train and ride in a challenging, supportive, and fun environment, just like our race team. Practices are held once per week at Highland Mountain Bike Park. With world-class terrain, progressive trails, and top-tier training facilities, the program supports a wide skill range of riders through individualized coaching and a focus on safety, progression, and personal growth. Our mission is to provide the best high-level mountain bike coaching by offering routine development and training for youth racers and freeriders alike in a team environment.

Dev Team Goals

The primary goal is to provide a well-rounded, rewarding experience that helps athletes grow as riders and as individuals. Each athlete’s journey is supported by individualized planning that focuses on long-term growth. By setting clear goals and expectations, our coaching staff tailors training to meet riders at their current ability and help them progress with purpose. Whether riders are looking to progress their skills or looking to compete at a high level, our program is built to adapt and support them every step of the way.

This program differs from our Race Team because this team focuses on general skill development and making well-rounded riders rather than having a specific race focus. This team welcomes riders with a range of abilities, as there will be multiple groups. This team does have the possibility of focusing on more freeride-based progression and utilizing our foam pit and resi landing to safely progress tricks to the mountain. If you are looking to safely progress your riding in a fun team environment or if you are interested in progressing your skills and tricks on our freeride terrain, this team is for you.

This program differs from our Development Team because this team will focus on race-specific training. We welcome riders from all gravity disciplines, from enduro and downhill to dual slalom and pumptrack. Our training program will focus on riding the technical terrain serviced by the chairlift; however, if you are looking to succeed in any gravity discipline, this team is for you. This team will focus on learning how to go faster in a calculated way, but we will also focus on building the most well-rounded racers we can. We will have plenty of days riding technical terrain, but we will also ride our freeride terrain, XC network, and more, if possible. This team is for any rider aged 10-16 looking to be a part of a team that has fun and focuses on learning how to ride faster. You do not need to be an experienced racer, just one who is willing to try!
